Its been a long time since I was actively submitting on NG.
A bit too long if you ask me.

All though once again, mankind has taken failure to a whole new level.
I decided to sit back and let the people entertain me for a change.

And what do they go and do?
Follow in Randy Solemn's steps and make an endless supply of Mario Movies.

Mistaken!
Mario wasn't the only game with sprites for god's sake.

Every movie doesn't need to be serious/epic!
Why can't we just have a sprite movie like they were made back in 2002/2003?

Those were the best years for the sprites!
Not because they were trying to be anything epic, but all because we just made the sprites do whatever the hell we saw fit!

That guy who does the earthbound films, Tool-Of-The-System deserves a few academy awards and an oscar.

Hell! Just look at what Harvest Moon could be! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/

Weary I am, of all of the repeats nowdays.
I've seen the latest Sprite TV, and while it was a great breath of fresh air, I feel the second one was better still.

Though apparently the new 'standard' is movies that require eight different programs to make, and end up vastly 20+ mb in size.

Yeah thats the new daily grand prize minimum.
15+ megabytes.

Back in 2001, if your movie was over 3 mb it was trashed for being too big.
They didn't bother watching it then, they just voted it 1 or zero.
And those were the golden times!

Everyones just doing the same old shit since 2004.
And to think, I thought the time of the Xiao Xiao ripoffs was a dark age.

Get off your asses and make some god damn entertaining sprite films!
